版权页：   He asked me whether／if I knew Zhang Hua.他问我认不认识张华(是否认识张华)。 I don't know whether／if he'll come back soon or not.我不知道他是否很快就会回来。 (3)由连接代词who,whom,whose,which,what或连接副词when,where,how,why引导 连接代词或连接副词位于从句的前面，起主句和从句的连接作用，从句用陈述句语序。它们在从句中充当一个成分，并保留原有的疑问含义，把句子译成汉语时，需要译出来。如： I don't know who is there.我不知道谁在那儿。 He asked me which man I had seen the night before.他问我头天晚上看见了哪个人。 Tell me what he said.告诉我他说了些什么。 Do you know when he came back?你知道他是什么时候回来的吗？ We don't know why they haven't come yet.我们不知道他们为什么还没有来。 4.同位语从句 用做同位语的从句，叫同位语从句。它一般跟在名词(如fact,idea,news,promise等)的后面，用以说明或解释前面的名词。引导同位语从句的词有连词that，连接副词how,when,where,why等。如： The fact that he had not said anything surprised everybody.他什么话也没有说，这件事使大家很吃惊。 I have no idea when he will be back.我不知道他什么时候回来。 You have no idea how worried I was!你不知道我是多么担心！ 5.定语从旬 在复合句中，修饰某一名词或代词的从句，叫做定语从句。引导定语从句的词，叫做关系词，如who,when等。关系词放在先行词和定语从句之间，起连接作用，同时又是定语从句的一个成分。这种关系词有两类，一类是关系代词who(宾语whom,所有格whose)，which，that；一类是关系副词when，where，why。 (1)关系代词的用法 ①who，whom，whose指人，在定语从句中分别作主语、宾语和定语。 This is the man who wants to see you.这就是那位要见你的先生。 Who's the man(whom)you just talked to?刚才你跟他谈话的那个人是谁？ Is this the girl whose mother is a singer?这就是妈妈是歌唱家的那个女孩吗？ ②which指物，在定语从句中作主语或宾语。 A plane is a machine which Can fly.飞机是能飞行的机器。 The film(which)we saw last night was wonderful.我们昨天晚上看的那部电影非常精彩。 ③that指物，有时也指人，在句中作主语或宾语。 A dictionary is a book that gives the meanings of words.词典是解释词义的书。
