Long hard road to reach simplicity

Reading it over and over again and every morning news about the unfortunate good,I finally and reluctantly confused ,whether it is right to carry forward morality in the spotlight through standing firstly out?It seems like an uninteresting issue which has been talked about a million times and almost every citizen of brain and intergrity,without exception,say ‘Yes,I will but in an appropriate way.'It has been an active signal that people surrounding gradually become in possession of appropriate ways not only securng their rights but also helping others stuck out,thought to accomplish it needs trials and errors in everyday life.However,another issue has been arisen.Let me have a brief introduction about Mark Twain's Following with the Revolutionary ,at first.A friend of Mark was a brilliant-tougued general.At least the quality impressed me a lot at first.His fist as thick as stone,made a swarm of punks find their teeth;his tougue was so acid as to shame an inexperienced but impolite clerk.The motto hanging on his mouth was the only efficient way to secure the citizens' basic rights is requirement for every citizen to endeavour to prevent or punish those wrongdoings on the scene.As an interesting saying goes where there is power there is responsibility.Indeed,from time to time,the general fulfilled his noble deeds which was consequently delighting however,aroused my doubt.Little by little,it was doubtless when the general should make utmost of his 'talented tougue' to argue over an attendent only for the right to play paper card on sunday which was strictly prohibited!Mark twain ironically commented that he would develope the same powerful 'talent' dealing with his loyal readers.The reasons why this story is so attractive are that the result indicated some profound message and that it remains,to a large extent,mirroring our modern society, regardless of the different times.A great writer is awlays the prophet of time.No doubt,to sand out where wrongdoers or wrongdoings exist does nothinng wrong,especially in such an "extremely cautious" society.But have we ever thought about moral deeds are accumulating and so are the motives gradually changing?That is,they will be no longer pure enough as more appreciation on good deeds we are receving.The issue arisen in part explains why we are casting more doubts on Chengguangbiao's charity. Uncapable of digging into a businessman's inner world,we don't know the truth behind,and not to metion to expose his motives to the whole society.As for me,Cheng's deeds are not so appreciatable whatever it is to the receiver or to the other rich,the pressure on whom seems invisible.Whatever the outside comments is one thing,and the inner qualities of a "longtime owner of nobility" are quite another.The same as Mark Twain's novel narrated,the "talents" facilited the general so as to win the right playing paper card------fully fed his own expediency.The general iwas no morality-lacking man,however as a matter of fact,it formed naturally that his motive had changed completely that the public opinion would not succeed in finding fault with his irreproachable means.In a word,he did not want any disapproval on him for he thought himself a noble person.Back to China's charity cause,surely also in many other fields,the conclusion has been drown that even doing something selflessly for the majority,we must be sure of the degree being properly confined so as to be acceptable.It does not mean efforts should not be paid.In such a balance-oriented society,individual's or enterprise's excessive donation doubtlessly puts others' into dilemma,because some media with no exception will annually list and rank the volume of donation.It partly hinders zeal for charity.Try to think will it not be brutal when a great many doners were put into comparison?One stands onto the top of the charity mountain,no matter intendedly or not,and it does not matter he will always be with clapping and controversy.What counts more is he bars the way for others to the top.That is why I regard Cheng as an unfortunate business,so Fangzhouzi an unfortunate scholar.Both of them,in their manner,are the eagerest to lessen poverty,corruption,dishonesty etc.Nevertheless,perhaps will they be affected by the combination of the two factors------inconsistant motives inside and pressure outside.I,from the beginning to end,advocate that the purer the motive is, the clearer the conscience will be.Being ashamed into anger,I will quit all what I am doing if the motives are off the initial ones.A simple case in point is when I thoroughly understand my devouring books is only for filling the blank for the sake of decency.In time of commercialization,meaningless to tell it right or wrong,I don not know how to keep simplicity.It is partly reasonable that the ancient did not emphasize the importance of merchant,especially when the boom of commercialization nowadays boasting interest-oriented society.I sometimes seriously take my old thoughts into consideration and try to keep others' pace.Maybe I am overcautious and indecisive.
