Helpe then, O holy Virgin chiefe of nine, 帮帮我吧？九天至真缪斯至尊，
Thy weaker Nouice to performe thy will, 柔弱的雏鸟将你的意旨遵循，
Lay forth out of thine euerlasting scryne 开银柜把你不朽的古卷摆匀，
The antique rolls, which there lye hidden still, 那些卷宗中仍有仙骑士隐存，
Of Faerie knights and fairest Tanaquill, 而且保留着塔娜奎尔的风韵，
Whom that most noble Briton Prince so long 最高贵的英国王子久久找寻，
Sought through the world, and suffered so much ill, 踏破铁鞋，遭遇无数逆境厄运，
That I must rue his vndeserued wrong: 以致我必为其所遭之罪悔恨，
