版权页：插图：Ceramics is a major category of Chinese arts, with a scope encompassing household items (such as plates, bowls, vases and jars), decorative porcelain as well as ancient glazed pottery and boccaro (purple sand) ware of all times.Of all secondhand goods on sale at Panjiayuan, ceramics are the most numerous; they are grouped mainly in the market's southeast corner, but you will also find some in the Folk Secondhand Goods Zone. Ceramics sold at Panjiayuan fall into three categories: real antiques, copies, and new ceramic arts. The first type are genuine antiques, most of them made in the late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China periods; fewer in number are Min Kiln wares of the Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties; and there are the occasional —— very occasional —— highly refined Guan Kiln objects from the Ming and Qing dynasties. These ceramics, whatever their quality or form, belong in the category of authentic works, the best of them highly sought after by prospectors. The second type are copies of ancient porcelain, or fakes.
