　　常见的词有：exciting，excited；annoying，annoyed；amazing，amazed；boring，bored；confusing，confused；encouraging，encouraged；embarrassing，embarrassed；frightening，frightened；inspiring，inspired等。　　The story of his school life sounds exciting．　　The game sounds SO interesting．　　He appeared satisfied with Our performance．　　The child was so frightened at the news．　　3．作状语　　现在分词、过去分词可作时间、条件、让步、方式、原因、结果状语，但不作目的状语。　　Seen from the top of the hill，the city looks more beautiful．（时间）　　He cut himself while shaving．（时间）　　There being nothing to do，he went home．（原因）　　Having been hit by the big boy in the face，the little boy began to cry．（原因）　　He put a finger in his mouth，tasted it and smiled，looking rather pleased．（伴随）　　Followed by the students，the professor came into the classroom．（伴随）　　Turning to the fight，you will find the Post Office．（条件）　　Given another chance，I Can do it be~er．（条件）　　He turned on the light，seeing nothing．（结果）　　The output of steel increased by 10％last month，reaching 29，000 tons．（结果）　　4．作主语补足语　　The machine will be kept running for two days．　　Our views have to be made known to them a11．　　5．作宾语补足语　　分词一般只在两类动词后作补语：感官动词和使让动词。这种用法中的现在分词表示动作正在进行或具有主动意义；过去分词表示动作已完成或具有被动意义。　　（1）这些动词后的复合宾语用分词作宾补：see，watch，notice，observe，find，hear，feel，make，get，set，send，start，catch，leave，keep等。用现在分词还是用过去分词作宾补，要看分词与宾语的关系。主动关系用现在分词；被动关系用过去分词。　　She smelt something burning．　　He heard his name Cled．　　He left thejob unfinished．
